Nobody likes a surprise bill. Here's how we handle it, in order, on every repair call.
You call or book online
We schedule same-day on most calls during the heating season, next-morning on the rest. You get a 30-minute heads-up call when the tech is en route.
Flat $89 diagnostic
The tech runs a full system diagnostic, confirms the failure, and explains what they found in plain language. The $89 fee is waived if you proceed with the repair.
Written repair estimate before any work
You see the total cost, parts, and labor time before anything is touched. You decide. If it's not worth repairing, we tell you that too.
Repair and full system test
Parts installed, system cycled through heat or cool, airflow and supply temperatures verified. Nothing leaves our checklist unchecked.
1-year parts and labor warranty
Same fault recurs within 12 months, we come back at no charge. In writing. On every invoice.
Houses, duplexes, condos, townhomes.
Most of our work is residential, from mid-century bungalows in St. Paul with cast iron radiators to new builds in Woodbury running variable-speed furnaces. We've seen the equipment, we know the quirks, and we carry parts for both.
If you own the furnace or AC, we can service it. We don't require you to be the original purchaser.
See residential services
Dental offices, salons, cafés, retail, small offices.
We service light-commercial rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumps up to 10 tons. Service agreements are available with after-hours tune-ups so your business doesn't go dark during the appointment.
If you're on a larger multi-tenant commercial system, we'll tell you honestly, that's not our shop and we'll point you to one that specializes in it.

Before you book.
What to know about pricing, scheduling and which service you need.
How do I know if I need a repair or a replacement?
Call us and describe what is happening. As a rule of thumb, a furnace or AC under about 12 years old with a single failed part is usually worth repairing. Older units with repeat failures or a cracked heat exchanger are a replacement conversation, and we will tell you honestly which one it is.
What is the $89 diagnostic fee?
It covers a full system diagnostic by a certified technician and a plain-language explanation of what failed. It is waived when you proceed with the repair.
Do I approve the price before work begins?
Always. You receive a written estimate for parts and labor, and nothing is touched until you approve it.
Do you service small commercial properties?
Yes. We service small commercial systems alongside residential ones. Call us with the equipment type and we will confirm scheduling.
How far out are installations booked?
Installations are typically scheduled 7 to 10 days out. Emergency repairs are prioritized and dispatched same-day on most calls.
Can I cancel a maintenance plan?
Yes. All three maintenance plans can be cancelled anytime.
Furnace out? We respond within 2 hours.
Our emergency line runs around the clock. One call gets a licensed technician on the way, with common parts already on the truck.
